MONEY, REFUNDS and CEUs
MONEY
We want everyone who wants this training to be included. No one is turned away because of a temporary lack of funds. Our requested sliding scale fee is an invitation to consider your own financial needs and then ours. Then choose the highest amount that you can contribute joyfully. This supports us including those without funds.
REFUND POLICY
- If you cancel within one-week (7 days) of the training date or do not attend, your payments will be refunded minus the $25 USD processing fee and any other additional expenses we have incurred on your behalf, such as unrecoverable venue fees.
- In the unlikely event we cancel the training or if your application is not accepted, you will get a full refund.
CEUs for MFTs, LCSWs and RNs
Rodger Sorrow (and Anne Walton pending) are approved through The Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) to offer CEUs to MFTs, LCSWs and RNs. RNs: California Board of Registered Nursing Provider Number 14273 and MFTs/LCSWs: California Board of Behavioral Sciences Provider 1993. Contact hours vary with each training. A separate application and fee is required.
Application (Form will be provided by our Organizer)
Each field must be completed on the application form. There is a space to calculate the unit costs at the bottom of the cover letter. Each in-session class hour is worth one unit of one credit.
- The first 6 units of credit (6 in-session hours) have a fee of $5.00 per unit
- Subsequent units have a fee of $2.00 per unit.
Please calculate your unit costs and show your calculations on the Application Form.
The Sign In/Sign Out sheet will help you with these calculations.
If you are attending more than one training, please complete separate application forms for each and pay according to the payment guidelines on each application.

Sign In/Sign Out Sheet
This sheet must be filled in for each class session within a workshop that you attend. Your credit hours are tied directly to class in-session hours, and must be documented in order to qualify for credit units. Total the number of hours for the entire event in the data field provided in the top right hand corner of the application form.
Processing Fee
Please include a check payable to The Center for Nonviolent Communication for your processing fee, which will equal $5.00 per unit (in-session hour) for the first 6 hours of an event; plus $2.00 per unit (in-session hour) for subsequent hours within the same event.
** CNVC only provides CEU’s for MFT’s, LCSW’s and RN’s for the State of California. Please check to make sure your state board accepts out-of-state CEUs.
