ANNE WALTON

Anne Walton, Certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication, began her NVC studies in 2005 when she attended a 3 day training with Marshall Rosenberg. What she heard there resonated deeply with her inner knowing about the quality of connection that’s possible for all of us on Planet Earth.
Since that time Anne has passionately pursued NVC thru facilitating workshops and practice groups, attending IITs and taking part in mentorship & leadership programs. Anne has offered NVC training in hospitals, schools, at conferences, in homeless shelters and adult recovery programs. She celebrates the enormous shift in her ability to connect with herself and others which NVC has provided the tools for.
Anne's background includes a certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute of BC, presenting at the International Conference on Conflict Resolution in St Petersburg, Russia 3 times, creating and performing comedy routines and shows, training Health Care staff in effective communication, being a keynote speaker at conferences plus designing and facilitating workshops on topics as varied as working with the dying to career transitions.
As a facilitator, Anne blends her warmth, authenticity and enthusiasm for life with a delightful sense of humor to create a learning environment which is fun, playful, energizing and inspiring.
